Yes for eye exams and fittings — repairs and adjustments are walk-in, no appointment needed. We work by appointment to give every patient a full, unhurried examination. You can book online in 30 seconds, via WhatsApp at +230 5774 2687 or by phone at 463 2371. Slots are available Monday to Saturday.
We are cashless partners with Swan, Medscheme, Eagle, Linkham, IBL Provident, Mosanté and SanlamAllianz. You pay nothing upfront — we handle billing directly with your insurer. Just bring your insurance card.
Cashless means you pay nothing upfront on the day of your visit. Your insurer settles the exam and/or eyewear directly, up to your covered limit, and we only bill you the remaining balance, if any. It's simpler, faster, and no cash advance needed.
It's not required, but helpful. If you have a recent prescription (less than 2 years old), bring it — it helps us track how your vision has evolved. Otherwise, we perform a full examination on site, no previous prescription needed.
Yes, we examine children from age 4. Signs to watch for: squinting, sitting too close to screens, frequent headaches, difficulty reading the board at school. A paediatric exam takes about 30 minutes in a child-friendly setting.
For an adult with no visual issues, every 2 years. For children, wearers of glasses or contact lenses, and adults over 40, every 12 months. People with diabetes or other risk factors should consult at least once a year.
